Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig 21st September, 1983). 21, 1983) is an acclaimed American actor. Most notably, she was the character Shannon Rutherford from ABC's Lost TV series and Kim Mills for the Taken Trilogy. After her parents divorced, she relocated with her mother into Los Angeles. As she struggled financially, she was able to land her first part as Rachel's Room's main character the web-based video show Rachel's Room in 2001. She went on to earn a Young Artist Award nomination in 2002 for her performance as the 15 year old murder victim Martha Moxley in the television movie Murder in Greenwich. In 2004, Grace was chosen to play Shannon Rutherford in the television show Lost on which she was the main cast member for the first two seasons. She was also awarded an Screen Actors Guild Award shared by the entire cast. Grace wanted to focus on film after starring opposite Tom Welling's character in The Fog, in 2005.
