Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, the daughter of a musician born in Mexico was born into an adored family of musicians. She spent the majority of her early years listening to classical music Boleros from the past, traditional ranchero or romantic tunes along with classic classical music. Ana enjoys tangos operas and other dramatic shows. Ana started learning how to play and sing at an early age alongside her mother. She received more formal vocal training when she reached the age of 16 old under the famous Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. The School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico furthered her education in music. While a young student and professional, she sang with many chamber groups and opera choirs in Guadalajara as well as Mexico City. After moving from Mexico to the United States at the age of 2000, she sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. The singer currently sings classic Latin American songs at private occasions as a soloist. Alongside being an active performer as well as an instructor the passion for arts and music keeps her active in a variety of different projects. Ana was also a part of the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is presently a professor in The Performance Loft. Ana hopes, with her performance her love of Latin American traditional songs, to inspire a love, especially for the young generation, for keeping this music vibrant.
